BriqHouse Media is an event planning and visual media company that handles every aspect of your event from inception to execution. Our services include coordinating social events, corporate events, galas, milestone celebrations (i.e. baby showers, wedding showers, weddings), and more. Adding "that special touch" and paying close attention to details is our expertise!
Once your vision is understood, our team of event and visual media professionals will bring your ideas to life. Not only can we plan your event, but we can capture memories of the day, providing videography and photography services, too.
Curating beautiful and memorable experiences is our main goal, and we strive to make sure your day is as special as you want it to be. Although our company is located in Detroit, MI, we provide traveling and virtual service experiences across the nation.
Meet Our Founder
Briquell "Briqs" Welch is the founder of BriqHouse Media, LLC. Originally, established in 2017 as a media and marketing company, the business shifted focus to event coordination, by 2020. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Print Journalism and Communications from Hampton University, in Hampton, VA, Briqs returned to Detroit and began serving in her calling, event producing.
At the start of her career, she served as a service producer at her church coordinating services, concerts, drama productions, and other church events. Briqs knows her talents come from GOD, so being able to work in this space is both an honor and a privilege for her.
In 2020, she further developed her skills in visual media production and quickly added photography and videography services to her resume. She has videographer experience, most notably providing videography services for the Tom Joyner Foundation's Fantastic Voyage Cruise, in 2021. As a photographer, her work includes taking professional headshots, fashion promo shoots, and family portraits capturing some of life's greatest moments.
